Hi there,

I'm new to this forum, having discovered it whilst trying to get in contact with Esources. I wonder if anyone can help.

I recently bought a premium subscription with esources and last week when I tried to sign into my account, I got an error message saying I had breached the terms and conditions too many times and my account had been terminated with loss of subscription fee.

I sent a message to them via their contact sheet and was told I had breached the terms and conditions too many times and a copy of the terms and conditions were enclosed. I've read them twice now to see what I possibly could have done but I still don't see where I have. I've since tried emailing them with no reply.

As I can't sign into my account anymore, I can't see what the telephone number is for them. However, having had enough of no replies to my emails, I've now tried phoning them with a number from a search on the net, but the number I have just rings and rings and rings. I'm really fed up now, can anyone shed any light on 1) what it is i might have done to upset them and 2) how i can get in touch with them?

With my husband made redundant on Friday last week, I can't afford to lose the subscription payment. We were hoping that we'd be able to make a bit of money dropshipping with the help of the resources of Esources.

Thanking anyone who can help in advance.

Yvonne

Haven't logged on using different computers have you. You are only allowed to log on from one computer apparently. As for help, use the search on here for esources and you will find similar stories.

I thought of that.

I did have a desktop at one stage as well as my laptop and accidentally logged on with that. I got a temporary suspension which gave the details of the suspension so I realised I could only log in with my laptop. I've not had the desktop now for quite sometime, so that can't be the case.

Thank you for the idea though, I appreciate your help.

It's nice to see their ads are no longer showing on this forum.

So how many times did they contact you to advise you of the breach? Maybe you should ask you local trading standards what they think of the contract you've unwittingly "breached" repeatedly. There's a fair bit of legislation out there to protect people from unfair terms, and if this is found to be the case, then trading standards can help.

I signed up for the one month trial, and discovered (after paying for a second month I certainly didn't want) like everyone else that it was a recurring payment (so actually I'd agreed to a monthly subscription, not a one month service at all, despite how it was worded). I cancelled the payment (in paypal), and have since ignored them completely. You're not alone, that's for sure.

I certainly wouldn't personally recommend them to anyone.

Paul

Thanks to everyone. I'm still at a loss, although I now realise that they seem to be a bit of a cowboy outfit.

I paid using paypal. The subscription is cancelled but I think I'll still keep my eye on it.

I wish I'd heard of this forum sooner, but now that I've found you, thank you very much for your help and I look forward to being able to contribute when I can.

Yvonne

They are in business for people like you. Not to help you find sources, but to screw you out of your fees. That is the core of their business. It happens too often, to too many people to be an error or misunderstanding.

I can tell you they do not answer the phone, their street address is a mail drop and you will never contact them directly. In fact, it seems like they respond more on forums than in any other fashion.

They claim their terms are legally correct and while I have seen scores of complaints and threats to sue, not once have I seen anyone come back and report a successful court action to get their money back. And they stay in business, so they must be legal to the point they cannot be closed down.

While it is sad to hear of your circumstances, if you cannot work out something with PayPal or your card company, you may as well give it up. File a complaint, if you like, but don't go throwing good money after bad trying to get a refund.

Sorry!

New to your forum, not from the UK, hope that is ok? Looking for truth about dropshipdesign.com. They are both in the UK and US. I am a member of one month, but am having some second thoughts. Does anyone have information I should know?

I'm not from the UK either, most of them are out partying or between the sheets by now.

I'll beat them to the punch.

While you are certainly welcome here, the first thing you'll get scolded about is not using the search feature.

Do a search on dropshipdesign.com on your own, you'll earn points with the folks if you do.

Depending how you paid make sure that any direct debits or however you paid are completely cancelled else you might notice money coming out your account each month. So make so they can't get their hands on any.

hello, in my experience esources dont need much of an excuse to cancel your subscription, i asked for my money back and woooosh account suspended and for good measure because i spoke out about them on this particular forum they are trying to abstract further monies from me by taking me to the small claims court. for what i have no idea i think it has something to do within the terms and conditions that if you speak out against them WHILST a member you owe em fifty notes. i spoke out aginst em more than a few times WHILST i was suspended, surely that does not count.

Although being slowly eroded do we not still have the liberty of free speech in this country. I don't see how/why any company can have those terms in their T&Cs. Actually to me that smacks of guilt. Why would you say in your terms that no one is allowed to speak out against you unless you knew that you gave the type of service that people would be speaking out against

my sentiments exactly, as far as i am concerned that if you have a bad experience you should be able to speak out about it. if their customer service was ok in the first place and stopped pretending to have loads of staff because they quite clearly havent to deal with queries etc then you would be a satisfied customer so then no need to speak out.. :loud:

Most businesses I've dealt with and worked for have those kind of clauses, regarding not bringing their company into disrepute whilst you are dealing with them or working for them, never given it much thought.

They cannot enforce it unless they go to court and the judge is having an off day if you have a legitimate claim or make fair comment but the libel laws in this country are strict and sometimes with good reason. It's worth making sure you know exactly what you are talking about when commenting publicly about an individual or business, if they are identifiable you don't even have to name them, they can still bring an action against you.

good morning laggardlady. i appreciate there are laws regarding this type of thing. however my comments were made after they suspended my account and after i contacted them through paypal regarding the cancelation of my account, the only grey ares remains was whether or not i was still a member or representing them or not. in my mind i was no longer a member and comments were made on actual experiences with ESOURCES and no lies were involved. As i have told ESOURCES that i never signed any kind of official secrets act and i never actualy broke any of there self protecting rules whilst i was an ACTIVE member.

I'm not LaggardLady.

Were you talking about my business, I'd be collecting every last scrap of posts you make right now. I'm not going to say any more on the matter, you've clearly made your mind up on the path to follow.

Although, Laggard Lady has made a post here, you do seem to be responding to Baa's posts, and she already mentioned she's not Laggard Lady.

Are you sure you are talking about esources ;)
