I have just had the unfortunate experience of reading the messages relating to ATS. I have been a customer for years and trusted them with the web site. But I think Tech support is some geek sitting at a kitchen table with a complete inability to comunicate. Trying to get any sense whatsoever regarding the site, tracking codes and Google etc is a joke. It looks like they havnt put the cash into develop the business. Its a pity but I dont have time to hang around and there are other dropshippers offering up and running sites ready to go as this one should have been. ADIOS ATS.

Lets hope that ATS read this forum. I agree with the comments regarding the poor tech support, the will no doubt lose more and more business if they dont improve

Despina,

They're talking about a web site from them. ATS are an excellent dropshipper, so I wouldn't worry.

The web sites they offer are a very recent addition, and there are quite a few problems with them at the moment. I have to say that I'm not keen on ATS's own web site, som I'm not sure I'd want them building mine... ;)

I have to agree with the comments regarding ATS being an excellent Dropshipper. Credit given where credit is due. It is their retail sites that are an issue, or more importantly, the lack of communication from their alleged tech support and them taking us for fools

Dropship away with ATS with confidence, fast delivery, excellent stock updating.

I have to agree about ATS dropshipping - they have been excellent, so far.

However, when I just went to login to my account I got the dreaded - ERROR, PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER message, meaning I can't order the goods I've sold.

Anyone know if this happens often?

Thanks.

You may be able to telephone your order, but bear in mind that it isn't going to be dispatched on a Sunday anyway!

Chill :)

This is getting a bit silly now as i was in the process of doing some work on my site yesterday and slowley learning how to do the jobs needed in the controle pannel but today i carn`t get in. What a pain!! this is becoming. Seems that there still needs to be a lot of work to be done there side even though i will be billed each month for what seems a poor service for the website side.

So this could be money going down the drain i hope NOT!!!!!!! :brain:

Cant get into mine - but then I havent put much effort into my site for a couple of weeks. Do need to start looking at it though.

I have had people coming on the site and making dummy orders and have 2 people signed up for newsletters (really must get one done)

I am also showing up in google search too so all is pretty good really.

ATS told me just before Christmas 2006 that they would be releasing their new website within a couple of weeks. It took a long time to come to therefore i wouldnt dream of having a website with them at the moment.

ats. i have found them to be excellent as dropshippers and very effecient. never had a problem with email and if i did i would just phone them. i really think as a human race were usually the guilty parties within technology. i used to manage a very big high st store and 80 per cent of the time it was customer ownership problems. i.e no patience or not reading the instructions correctly.
Ive just signed up and in the 72 hr period , so will keep you up to date. but ive tested other websites designed by ATS and they look and work very well.

Hi,
I am a newbe to this site, also new to dropshipping.
I have my own on line store and also sell on ebay. I have just placed my first order or at least tried to place my first order with ATS. PROBLEM. I only get as far as select postage method, then click on Proceed and it just takes me back to the same page again. So I have no way of knowing if my order has gone through or not.
Also if I look in my orders, the order is there, but in My account the money has not been taken?

HELP !! I am totaly confused!!!

Can any one help me please.

Many thanks

My advice is not to panic, main reason as your order would not be dispatched until Monday pm anyway so your customer will not be effected in anyway
Best thing is to give them a call on Monday morning they can then either confirm a problem or talk you through the process in full.

Keep us updated on how it goes

All the best

Hi Lightweight,

Thanks for the help. I have been working on it all morning and am really fed up now. I have tried many times now, even tried canceling the order twice and starting again. I did wonder if it was because it would only leav me with 1p in my ats account after paying for the order, anyway I am baffled.
I only top up the account with enough money to pay for what I need to order, may be they want more in it all the time. I have checked that they have taken their £40 activation fee and they have.
I will have to ring them tomorrow and find out what the problem is.

I am also finding things not moveing on ebay, I can not set my prices any cheaper as I work it out by adding cost price + p&p plus paypal fees, which are minimal, but not getting any takers. I have had a look around and apart from other ebayers, no one is selling the prams or other stuff much cheaper. I would end up with no more than about £5 profit on a £250 pram and £1.00 on an item selling at £10.

Can do with some good tips on getting my stuff sold.

I have had an on line store through 1 & 1 internet
and put all relevant keywords in, where relevant. Not getting picked up on search engines. I daily go to my domains and refresh sit map etc.
Money is an obsticle, can't afford to use people like SEO to help. :(

feeling like giving up a bit, been on a month now and no custom.

Make me feel better will you, tell me some thing good.

You can tell I am a newby can't you.

Cheers

musicjackie,

With your 1and1 shop, you absolutely positively need to get rid of the flash intro. Next you need to put some content/featured products on your home page. It currently isn't worth the wait ;)

Try putting pictures on the home page and linking them to shop items, as specials etc.

Then compress your information into a small number of pages (i.e. your GTC and Shipping, and the Contact us, Contact form and newsletter pages).

You also need to look at some content for that empty strip down the left-hand side. It looks like the site is broken.

If you can, then get rid of the customer login.

Content, Content, Content!

Paul

Hi,

Thank you for that. Been trying to get rid of that strip down left hand side, can not seem to do so, spents hours on it and not got anywhere, seems to be pre-set. will get hubby on to it, see if he can get rid of it.
Had tried to get rid of flash inrto today will get on to it again right away.
I can see what you mean about adding pic's to front page/homepage. Will give that a go. In fact will try everyything you have suggeted.

Just been looking at mor info on my 1 & 1 shop builder and it seems that I can not add my own HTML codes on my package, and stuff like that but if I upgrade to another account I should be able to do so. that might help. Also I can not use FTP like my hubby can on his website. he built his own for his plumbing buisiness and uses FTP, HTML, Java all sorts of stuff that I do not understand, but he will not help me, says not got time!!

Going to log on now and make the changes.

Thank you again for the help.

musicjackie
