Todays football shockers
How nice to some mighty teams so humbled. Liverpool defeated by Barnsley and the mighty gunners looking so very un-Arsenal against Man U.
Where you there , do you agree, weakened teams are no excuse in this day and age it happens to everyone at some stage, take nothing away from Man U they were full value for money and on another day it could have been double figures.
Congrats and good luck to Barnsley in the next round.

That's the magic of the FA Cup and what it's all about.
Barnsley got a day to remember. That will go down In their history books and a good story for the grandkids. Winning away at Anfield isn't in the script.
United were special today and all sang from the same hymn sheet.
Imagine what a day it would've been if Huddersfield had got a result.

The FA Cup has been thrown wide open this year, especially with so many big guns going out so early. Who's left now, only Chelsea and Man Utd? If those two draw each other in the next round, then it'd be great for the smaller clubs.
I can't believe Bristol Rovers are in the Quarter-Finals. I agree though, it's the magic of the cup and I wish them well.

Now that would have just been the icing on the cake for me!

Sheffield United or Middlesbrough v Cardiff City
Manchester United v Portsmouth
Bristol Rovers v West Brom
Barnsley v Chelsea
I can see the four semi-finalists as: Middlesbrough, Man Utd, West Brom, & Chelsea.
Looks good to me being a boro fan.

Lets hope it's the same next weekend

After what's happened so far they've as good a chance as anyone to get to the semi's and best of luck to them.

Get your money on
Football
Portsmouth to win the FA Cup 10/1 available will be about 5/1 after they beat Preston
Horse Racing
Denman to win Cheltenham Gold Cup (March 14th)
Looking good for both the above bets
as i quoted on 17th feb
Heres another good looking bet
Newcastle to be relegated @ 5/1 looks a value bet
as they could be in or just outside the bottom three by next weekend if results go against them

Congrats Cardiff you were fantastic, as for my team Boro, not so much shocked as we've struggled through the last couple of rounds to lower league opposition. But to come out and play like that, in what is conceivably the best chance of ever winning the F.A CUP is absolutely shocking.
Best of luck to all teams left, which in my opinion has been the best FA CUP competition ever.
