View topic - Product Listing and New product

Can somebody help me please, On my category page, I have "NEW PRODUCT FOR JUNE"

Is there a way I can remove that and have product listing instead.

In admin > configuration > Index listing you can switch off Show new products on main page. You can do the same for specials and featured and others

Thanks for replying, all it does is take the Main Page New products and the category page New products is still there.

have been messing with the index and layout settings couldnt get it to work.

I have one site where it doesn't show. I think I went into one of the files and took the wording out. It was so long ago I can't remember. I would have used Admin > Tools > Developers tool kit to search for the file.

Hopefully someone can come on and say for sure. I have to go out just now so have no time to search

Try Configuration > Maximum Values and set New Products Module to 0.

Are you trying to remove the product listings in the 'NEW PRODUCTS FOR....' Table or just change the heading to something else?
