I kinda like the international games. Being a Scotsman it gives me an excuse to look out the 1978 World Cup retro shirt, fill myself up with blind optimism only to get cut down at full time then getting embarrasingly drunk and sing Tartan Army songs. Magic.

It's the only time that its okay to act like that :laugh:

Oh and when we do upset the odds like beating France home and away it means even more fun.

You think that was embarrassing, I went to a Liverpool / Everton game at Anfield many years ago (1986) as a guest of Ian Callaghan (what a player) .

Liverpool lost at home to Everton :shock:

Never liked Gary Lineker since then :evil:
