McClaren has been sacked!!!
Not much justice I know, but who do you guy's think should be his successor.
I think Jose Mourinho would be a good choice.

Jose will never manage England - he has already said he would only ever manage Portugal (and not yet).
Martin O'Neill will be poached from Villa - leaving them in the lurch.
The English FA knew that McClaren was the wrong man for the job, but they felt under pressure to appoint someone after Scolari told them where to go. Bad choice made quickly.
Disappointing, but maybe this will finally be the excuse to sort it out properly. Get someone in, and give him the time to do the job.

I'm not sure the FA will have the guts to approach Jose - shame.
Paul Jewell - FFS - good manager but not at this level - we need someone who can whip this bunch of prima donnas into a decent side. I'd tip my hat for Wenger but he won't take it. And if someone mentions Pearce I'm changing nationalities.
Not sure about Martin O'Neil - Leicester (and I live in Leicester), Celtic, Aston Villa - hardly top class teams.
