View topic - Restricting access to certain categories

does anyone know if there is a mod out there that restricts certain users to certain categories please.

Eg - I want group 1 of users to only have access to Category 1 and group 2 to have access to category 2 etc etc.



Is there also a mod that allows two categories per group - ie group 1 can access categories 1 and 2, and group 2 can access categories 2 and 3 or something similar?

It looks like it hasn't been updated to latest Zen Cart version and there are warnings that it isn't compatible with MySQL 5 but might be worth looking into.

Must admit I had seen this but as it wasnt MySQL 5 I thought do not touch LOL.

I have also seen the one that relies on Group Pricing/Dual Pricing being installed and I dont want that either - I just want a straight forward Group 1 - Categories 1 and 2, etc. or just one category per group.

If its not possible, I have another way of doing something but will take me a little longer.
